Solar energy can be found everywhere in colossal amounts. Our planet receives 15,000 times more energy than is consumed by man. Each square metre of the planet receives an average of 2 to 3 kWh per day in Northern Europe, and 4 to 6 kWh per day in the Mediterranean region of France or between the Tropics.

We only need the energy received by 5% of the deserts to supply the entire planet.

The awareness of public authorities has really boosted the installation of photovoltaic power plants. There are varied applications, ranging from solar water heaters to solar-powered catamarans to power plants producing between 10 and 40 MW!!

The FAUCHE GROUP wants to put its know-how to use and consolidate its presence in the renewable energy field (designer and installer of biogas power plants ), by offering turnkey photovoltaic solar power plant installations for the authorities, companies and private individuals.Simplified operation

PRINCIPES

Simplified operation

Solar radiation generates direct current in the cells of photovoltaic solar panels. All the panels are interlinked to form the photovoltaic generator. Direct current is connected to the connection/security box via the main direct current line, which runs up to the inverter.

The inverter converts direct current into alternating current, which can be used by the EDF (French Electricity Board) network. Energy can then be sent to the network through a new EDF meter, which adds up the energy you produce

Integrated or stacked?

“Stacked” refers to a system which is simply installed and attached to a roof or a surface.

superposé
“Integrated” refers to the photovoltaic modules which are part of the building architecture: sun screens, glass roofs, roofs, façade, roof tight elements, etc.

If you want to benefit from the buy-out price of 0.55 €/kWh, you have to prove to the DRIRE (French Regional Boards for Industry, Research and Environment) that the modules are part of the building architecture, as the DRIRE issues the purchase certificate at 0.55 €/kWh.

An obvious economic interest, a sustainable facility

A secure investment

There are two types of EDF-connection contracts. Either you sell the excess energy you produce and you do not use, or you sell all the energy produced.
Since July 26th 2006 and the re-appraisal of buy-out prices of the electricity produced by solar radiation energy, it has been more interesting to choose the total resale option.
Indeed, EDF's buy-out price is now 0.3 €/kWh for stacked facilities, and 0.55 €/kWh for integrated facilities, whereas you buy electricity at about 0.107 €/kWh during on-peak hours and 0.065 €/kWh during off-peak hours.

The return on investment is between 10 and 15 years depending on the technology used.

Sustainable facilities
Thanks to the technological progress of the last few years and the continual efforts in research and development, photovoltaic power plant facilities have become aesthetic, very reliable, sustainable and require little maintenance.
