The JP. FAUCHE GROUP, and more precisely the Lafrançaise site, has been certified APSAD I7 since October 2004. In other words, the French National Prevention and Protection Centre (Centre National de Prévention et de Protection (CNPP)) has authorised us to design and install Fire Safety Systems and Alarm Control Panels.
Installing an I7-certified Fire Safety System has several advantages:
- The first one is that you are assured that your facility is designed to measure, as per the rules of the trade, as the risks of all the premises are analysed one by one.
- The second one is the logical follow-on from the first. A properly-designed facility means that a fire start can be avoided and so the resources to be implemented to extinguish it can be reduced to a minimum: 1 minute = a glass of water, 2 mins = a bucket of water, 3 mins = a tonne of water !!
- The third one is that you can ask your insurance company for a significant rebate on your insurance contract. Mention it to your insurance company!!
We will end this presentation by reminding you that the main risk of fire spreading actually comes from fumes, contrary to a lot of preconceived ideas.
