Airbus deliveries
18th December, 2006, News.
Airbus' impressive delivery centre will soon welcome its first customers who will undoutably fall beneath the spell of its gigantic room with a panoramic view. This delivery centre is located close to the Clément Ader factory, and spreads over an area of 40 hectares covering the towns of Blagnac, Colomiers and Cornebarrieu. It has just been named after the very famous Henri ZIEGLER who would have been 100 years old this year. We had the privilege of "lighting up" this ambitious project: we provided the lighting for the outside areas, 37 25-metre lighting masts, and taxiway lighting. Our participation does not stop there, as we also made the electrical equipment for the apron recesses and supplied them with 50Hz, 400 Hz, water, compressed air and low currents, supplied the high-current power to the HVA distribution substation from the Clement Ader station, totally fitted out the new crawl space linking all this centre's buildings with high currents, and provided the building access control, video surveillance, interphones, and safety elements. With such a prestigious name, this centre will no doubt become a reference in the world of aeronautics.
